Calendar

The Jill Gregory School of Dancing follows a two year cycle of events, concentrating on show work for six months every other year. When a show is not under preparation, we concentrate on exam work and medal tests.

New pupils can normally start at any time, though this may not be possible immediately before a show or busy examination session.

Guidelines to Dancing School Holidays:

Weekday classes run whenever School is open.  (Inset Days don't count as they vary from School to School).  Saturday classes usually run when school was open the day before.  However, exceptions to this rule are the half-term holiday in May/June the Bank holiday is the first weekend of the half term and so we take that weekend off instead. Also, we sometimes adjust the Christmas Holidays if the school closure is only a couple of days before Christmas, preferring to resume earlier than school in January, when the children are ready for a new diversion!
There is usually a Model Railway Exhibition the first Saturday in November.  In 2008, this will fall within our half term holiday, but other years, it falls within term time, and when this happens the Saturday classes do not take a half term holiday, but they run through half term and take the day of the exhibition off.
